Living collections of the Botanical Garden: In situ Conservation  and ex situ

Our  environmental education seeks  for our visitors to learn about Andean forests, their benefits and why their conservation is important; as well as sustainable practices with the environment.

Inside the Garden, different investigations have been carried out on Andean species. Currently, we receive interns, volunteers and thesis students interested in working for forest conservation.
